Book Club
Embodied Book Club: The Wild Edge of Sorrow
This book club kicks off October 1, 2026.
Join me for a gentle, soul-centered exploration of The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller. This 5-week virtual book club invites you into a supportive community space to reflect on grief, loss, and the sacred invitation of sorrow. Each 90-minute session includes coming together in community for group discussion and a guided meditation to help integrate the week’s themes. Together, we’ll explore how grief can become a portal to deeper connection and healing.
Retreat
Between the Veils: A Samhain Women’s Circle & Overnight Retreat
October 24-25, 2026
As autumn draws us inward, join us for an intimate, women-only overnight gathering honoring Samhain — a sacred time of transition, remembrance, release, and renewal. We’ll begin by gathering in circle for a welcome reception, opening ritual, and nourishing Samhain-inspired dinner. Through meaningful conversation, kriya, breathwork, and ecstatic dance, we’ll reconnect with our bodies, awaken our energy, and create space for both joyful expression and quiet reflection.
As darkness falls, we’ll gather beneath the autumn sky for drumming and a fire ceremony. Together, we’ll release what no longer needs to travel with us and honor the wisdom held within both shadow and light. In recognition of Día de los Muertos and the practice of memento mori, we’ll create a collective remembrance altar honoring those who have passed. You are invited to bring a photograph, flower, written note, or meaningful object representing someone you love. This dedicated space will allow us to remember, grieve, celebrate, and honor the love that continues beyond physical presence.
The rest of the evening will unfold slowly and organically. Remain beside the fire, soak beneath the stars in the hot tub, awaken your senses with a cold plunge, share conversation, or simply rest. Sunday morning, we’ll return to ourselves through meditation and yoga before gathering for brunch and a closing circle. Each woman will also leave with a personal ritual to practice on Samhain.
This intimate, alcohol-free retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise, gather in the strength of women’s community, honor those who came before us, and meet the changing season with intention. Space is intentionally limited.
Healing as a Devotional Practice
Human Recovery bridges modern neuroscience with timeless wisdom to create a practical, trauma-informed approach to healing that integrates mind, body, and spirit. Healing is not a destination. It's a daily devotional practice.
